Audience Size
The size of the audience is up to you. Ms. Gregory once spoke to over 500 fidgety five-year olds with another 500 parents, siblings, grandparents, and teachers sitting behind them—with no trouble. Obviously, a smaller group is ideal, and the smaller the group, the more she can interact with individual students.
Number of Presentations
Ms. Gregory can give up to three 45-minute presentations per day to Grades K-6. If you prefer, one of the three 45-minute presentations can be split to accommodate 2 20-minute kindergarten programs. Students should be grouped according to age levels.
Equipment Needed
Ms. Gregory will need a table (for books), a microphone (preferably lapel), a screen (she will bring her own computer and projector), and a podium.
Autographing
Please leave enough time in the day for autographing. Books are available from local booksellers, publishers, or from the author. The Press Kit has many downloads for schools including a Book Order Form that many schools have found useful to send to parents and to help them keep track of which book goes to which child. If you don’t use the Book Order Form, please have post-its and pencils available. Download the Book List for details if you plan on ordering books yourself.
